Platinum Events Newcastle is a family-run events company with a passion for creating amazing experiences.

What started with a love of entertainment and a career that took us around the world has grown into a business we’re incredibly proud of.

OUR STORY

Our journey began back in 2005, when we started working in casinos.

Then came an opportunity we couldn’t turn down — working aboard some of the world’s biggest cruise ships, including Royal Caribbean, Princess and Carnival.

For three years, we travelled the world, visiting incredible places including Hawaii, Australia, French Polynesia and the Bahamas.

It was an incredible experience, but eventually we started missing home.

So we returned to Newcastle and continued our careers within the casino and entertainment industry. Another opportunity then took us to Riga, Latvia, where we worked as online croupiers for major entertainment companies.

After a few more years, the pull of home became too strong.

We came back to Newcastle, started our family and decided it was time to build something of our own.

And that’s where Platinum Events Newcastle began.

What started as an idea between us has grown into a business that we’re constantly developing and adding to.
